Glueless wigs are made with closures in which an elastic band can be added for adjustments around the circumference of the dome unlike most wig adjustments are only at the nape of the neck. This allows the option of not needing to applying glue lace glue or any adhesive to assure a secure fit. With custom sizing and an elastic adjustable band this will reassure a more secure fit.
2. What is the difference between a frontal and closure? Frontals come in two sizes 13x4 and 13x6 the first number is ear to ear measurements which most if not all ppl are 13 inches wide or less. The second number is the width in the part so it’s either 4 inches back or 6 inches. Frontals requires adhesive when being applied. Adjustable band can be added for a more secure fit but the ear flaps will lift.
Closures come in several sizes covering temple to temple allowing the hairline by the ear free.
Closures come in 4x4, 5x5, 6x6,7x7 either size can be requested for order.
I carry/make 5x5 closures wigs the most, I like the coverage the best. I’m a 21.5 head circumference which is a small. But this coverage is average for any head size.
With a custom fit and adjustable band this style unit requires no adhesive. Most people add hair spray to conceal the line from cutting the lace.
